After instal "M2D-Beta-0.07.cab" i have message on today screen "tap screen to load TOUCHFLOW" and then "unable to load". What i must do to load it? I have Qtek 9090 (HTC Blue Angel) with WM 6.1

You have to install all the applications for it to work. After installing M2D-Beta-0.07.cab follow the rest of the steps given above

I cant instal 1 st D Commonmenager :" Instal was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be instaled becouse it does not have sufficent system permission" but when i instal it on storage cart it is instaling. I try to instal it on sd and continue instalation but when i finish, and check touhflo, it still write: unable to start touch flo.
PS. After instal takskmenager i must do softreset and that system restart about 10 minutes! It is normal?

I have already installed a different version from freeware for pocket pc web site. Now I can´t uninstall the previous version completely and after having installed yours it still have some problems as:
no chance to access menu options on the horizontal button bar because its hidden
There´s no specification for the icons showed on the configuration menu which goes after google maps
no music available in the music menu too
I don´t know how to uninstall the previous version and also don´t know if overlapping this manilla version will be a solution...
Can you help me installing it correctly?

@ Dawid : 1st D CommManager.cab installed fine for me on to my device memory , i am not really sure whats wrong there ( do you have enough space on your device memory )

After everyting were installed i did notice that startup did take a lill while longer that usual , but not 10 min

I flashed my ROM before trying this on so i had no other version overlap, If you are comfortable with flashing your device I would suggest you to do the same ( if your device is still under warranty it will void that , so be careful )
I am not really sure if over lapping with another version will resolve the issue

Trying to delete the other files manually via a file explorer is another option ( make sure you disable TouchFlo from today before uninstalling it )

After install all of them, I still get "Tap Here to launch TouchFLO" and can't load it. Mine is samsung i760 with WM6.1.

Hi David

Did u try and reboot after the install, lets us know how it goes after the reboot. Were there any other issues while installation ?

EDIT : just saw u were using a samsung i760 , this will most likely work only on HTC devices :(

Yes, i reboot him after instal, but it still can't load touch flow (maybe becouse, i have instali 1st D CommManager.cab on sd card). (I have 20Mb on device memory) PS. is there any other option to make shorter time to my system start up

Not to promote another site, but if you go to freewarepocketpc can get you the TouchFlo 2d in just 2 cabs, the main cab and the youtube add-on (which still isn't working entirely yet.) You will still have to add the Opera and GoogleMaps cabs, but it's really the easiest and fastest way to go.

This is an interface that runs on the new HTC device with better RAM and processor , so on the older device it will make the device a bit sluggish ..

i love this app and its amazing but i have one problem...the contacts tap just says loading and nothing happins.and then the weather says click to select and i do.then i select my location and when it goes back to touchflo it says i havnt selected a location.i type in my location and click select.what do i do?please help

This is Jags... i downloaded the file from the post which is around 15MB. I tried to install the cab Manila2D_1.00_1819.2926.cab file on my fone after unzipping the 15MB file.

Model i'm using is HTC Touch India version (ELF). At the end of the installation (Memory card i installed initially) i got the error of unable to install in the specified location and again i tried to re-install on Device memory but the same error i got. Could any one please guide me how to install the same with step by step procedure.

There was no option to disable TOuch Flow in Today -> Settings -> Items
I deactivated HTC Home and tried to install but i mentioned the error above Please help me out

or in the list of files which cab should be installed first etc., Please guide i'm very much excited to use the 2D flow on my device.

Please reply faster.

Hey Jags, before u try and install it try to disable all today plugins and close all active applications, see if that makes a diffrence :)

Hi george,

I tried the same which you simply specified. If you can give me the detailed instruction like what are the pre-requisites required to install and how to install.
I purchased in India the HTC Touch with WM6 Professional.

At the end of the installation it asked me to install in another location saying that unable to install in the specified location.

I stopped running all the apps., an disabled HTC Home and all plug-ins (Settings -> Items -> Every thing Un-checked and installed the same but cudn't install.

Is there any Rom upgrade required? i mentioned the same below. please let me know and how to install the same.

My ROM version is 2.20.720.2B WWE
Date 10/02/07
Radio Version: 03.07.90

I had this on a WM6.1 rom , but removed it after a few days coz it made the phone really slow. the only major diffrence I see is you are on a WM6 ROM, that being said I am not sure if thats the issue

i tried installing all of the applications.. However even installing into the external memory still requires some from (internal) phone memory. it is impossible to install all.. is it nessary to install all or just 1. install M2D-Beta-0.07.cab
is enough...

@ renegade thats is most likely due to application lock on your device. see the glossary for " Application Unlock " for more info

In a few days im going to buy the new OMNIA i900 from verizonewireless and i actually like the HTC theme better then the stock theme on the i900 because i love the color black, and was wondering if this theme will work with this phone. Also when you download the theme do i download it on the phone or PC.

It will not work on the Omnia coz this is only for QVGA devices. unfortunateely Omnia is not a QVGA device.

Its up to you , If your device is a QVGA device you can give it a shot. The interface might be a bit slow.

hi guys ive installed all the apps in my device but after that no nothing at all itnt working its just says " tap to launch touchflo and afterdoing so.. it ll say launching and then back again to tap.....blah blah... is it possible that coz ive installed opera 2nd to main mem and not to storage device, or when ive stalled some of the cabs its says that i have installed a older version appsand may not work properly by the way im using an asus p525 wm6.1 upgrade... pls help guys i really wana use touch flo....

Hi i downloaded this. everything is okay, but i cant seem to put music on the mp3 audio manager. I put songs on my device right? but when i on the audio manager, it says there are NO songs (but it shows the albums,artist) it doesnt play the songs.

For the last 2 1/2 years, ive had the Treo 700p. I recently got rid of it to try out the Windows mobile platform. So far its kicking me in the teeth. But thats due to my lack of experience. I want the TouchFlo 2D. But i am having trouble from the get go. I have saved the rar file to my desktop. I then open the Windows Mobile Device Center and try to either paste or drage it into the File Management. Thats where i start having problems. It wont paste or drag over. Am i supposed to drag it into a specific folder? I thought i was savvy, until i got my Mogul. But willing to try. NEED HELP!!!

just extract the content of the rar on the desktop. Then transfer the cab files to your device.

hi,
i installed it on my HTC elf,it works and it's so cool,but i have a couple of questions:

1-after i installed it,the original TouchFLO cube became really slow,and the device overall became slow,though the memory usage was low.even after i uninstalled it the device remained like that.is it because of the processor or what?

2-in the internet tab,the internet button doesn't launch the browser,though i had opera pre-installed already.

3-the lower taskbar buttons changed to programs and phone,is there anyway to restorethem?

4-the music player doesn't work

5-isn't the weather interface supposed to be like the diamond's,i mean this 3d one?

1) not sure , did u reboot the revice after uninstall
2) you will need to install opear provided with this

5) Thats TouchFlo3D , its different from TouchFlo2d

I used dopod 838pro with WM6.1 and already installed this TouchFLO 2D. Everything is ok, except for the 'device lock'. How do I lock my phone since the device lock is disappear and sometimes it will launch the applications automatically without my knowledge.

me again,sorry for the inconvenience.

i installed it again after a hard reset,and it works just fine now,but with some issues:

1-can't add applications;i already added the notes on the fisrt icon,but it won't add any other apps.
2-the music tab
3-the pictures tad displays an "L" like black border on every photo

ive done everything as instructed. here are my findings

1) audio manager cannot detect any songs

2) phone hangs to a black screen when glancing thru photos and when i tried to play video

any ideas on having these addressed..... or maybe if i could find a proper audio manager or HTCalbum to test if any might be working properly and also user friendly

Its in English and should work on HTC QVGA devices, I dont think it will play nice with the Samsung i780

I have a Touch dual and I'm interested on installing the Touchflo 2D, but I have to do some questions first:

1.) Is there any coincidence to damage my device (example: stop starting up)?
2.) If I would like (but, I don't think) to uninstall Touch flo 2D, is there any coincidence to cause problems?
3.) I have WM 6, it works better with WM 6.1?
4.) Touch dual's processor is at 400 MHz, It will work too slowly, after the installation?

5.) The cube is going to be disabled (or work too slow)?
6.) What will happen if I install it incorrectly, can I uninstall it safely?

And the last question:

7.) Has anybody installed this correctly in a Touch dual? Everything works perfect?
