Looks great! HTC's TouchFLO looks a bit more aesthetically pleasing though.

    jdep1,

How does it compare to the TouchFLO of HTC? Or it shouldn't be compared because they're totally different to each other?

Mobile Shell 3.0 is as perfect a software ever written. It runs smoothly and gives what was promised. It is beautiful and easy to get around. The lifestyle page allows you to make it yours. I have spents hours perfecting the positions and the icons. It was fun and easy setting it up. There are only 2 cons. It pulls on the battery pretty hard and I hope to see the ability to bring in new widgets in the future. Dont get me wrong, it has lots of them to start with but more will allow us to keep it fresh and new. Bravo, keep up the good work. I do not know how 4.0 will ever be an improvement over this version.

When I went from the Palm OS (Palm Treo 680) to the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS (Palm Treo Pro), I thought that I had lost my mind and the smooth functioning of the Palm OS. Not saying that the Mobile Shell v 2.0 was as good as the Palm OS, but it sure beat the heck out of WM6.1!!! So, when Mobile Shell 3.0 came out, I jumped on the chance to buy it and download it (from http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/pocketpc-softwa...) without even going the "trial" route as I did on version 2.0. I certainly am thrilled with this newest version. Things which were more difficult or impossible to do are now easy and possible. Contacts are easily made....AND more than "just" six contacts. Further, navigating from one area to another is almost intuitive (which is what I loved about the Palm OS). I would recommend this to anyone and everyone....even cheapskates like me who do not like forking out money for the ease of use that Microsoft should have put in the WM 6.1 OS to begin with....
