where does it get installed?? I can't find it on my phone after opening the .cab!

after installing try rebooting your device, it should be available in Start-> Programs . If not check with a file explorer in the \program files\ folder

Got it Thanx. I was looking alphabetically for it under HTC! and it is installed as Audio Manager! duh!
